The Great Khali To Be Inducted Into The WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2021

On March 23, 2021, it was announced that The Great Khali would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame at this year’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Khali was given the news by his brother and former manager, Ranjin Singh.

The Great Khali began his professional wrestling career when he debuted in 2000 for All Pro Wrestling under the name “Giant Singh.” Khali would later sign with WCW before it was purchased by WWE in 2001. Later, The Indian Giant would wrestle for New Japan Pro Wrestling and CMLL before being signed to WWE in 2006.

On January 2, 2006, Khali would become the first Indian professional wrestler to be signed to WWE and would debut in WWE’s developmental federation, Deep South Wrestling. Four months later, Khali would make his television debut on SmackDown. With Daivari as his manager, Khali would attack The Undertaker before his match with Mark Henry.

Throughout his time with World Wrestling Entertainment, The Great Khali would win the World Heavyweight Championship once (holding on to the belt for 61 days before losing it to Batista.) He will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, which you can watch on April 6, 2021 streaming live on Peacock.

We here at Powerbomb Post would like to congratulate The Great Khali for his “giant” achievement.
