According to PWInsider, former WWF Tag Team Champion Demolition Ax (real name Bill Eadie) has been suffering from heart-related issues.
As per the report, several notable names in the industry have asked fans to keep Eadie in their prayers. Eadie hasn’t wrestled a match since his retirement in 2017 but has made notable appearances at wrestling conventions across the country. Eadie’s last wrestling performance was under his “Demolition Ax” moniker. In this match, he would team alongside QT Marshall and Torque to defeat Brandon Collins, Cyrus The Destroyer, and Gil Quest at an August 2017 Georgia Premier Wrestling event.
With an in-ring career spanning 48 years, the 78-year-old Eadie is a professional wrestling icon. Truly, Eadie has had an incredible wrestling career! In fact, Eadie’s wrestling career is to be honored (alongside former tag team partner Barry Darsow) at T-Mart Promotions’ The Gathering II event next month.
