Mickie James To Produce Upcoming NWA Women’s PPV

When debating the greatest women’s champion of all time, Mickie James is often overlooked from the discussion (even after proving various times that she is one of the greats). Over twenty years later, Mickie is still passionate about women’s wrestling. On the June 8th episode of NWA Powerrr, Mickie James announced an upcoming NWA all women’s PPV – NWA Empowerrr set for August 28, 2021. 

James has experience performing in all women’s PPVs. Mickie would actually compete in the first-ever all WWE women’s PPV back in October of 2018, teaming up with Alicia Fox against two WWE Hall of Famers, Lita and Trish Stratus. Nearly three years later, Mickie finds herself serving as the executive producer for this historic NWA PPV. 

With over twenty years of experience, James brings a different perspective when it comes to producing a women’s wrestling show. From one-minute matches to bra-and-panties matches, Mickie James knows what it’s like to be denied opportunities. Now, James is giving a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for future stars to showcase their skills on a national stage.
