Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the ROH Wrestling Results, Ratings, and Review for June 19, 2021. This week’s edition of ROH Wrestling emanates taped from the Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. This show has two stellar matches planned for us. Without further ado, let’s get into this week’s Ring of Honor Wrestling! If you want to check out the preview – you can do so here.
Survival Of The Fittest Tournament Match: Bandido vs. Bateman
Bandido and Bateman make there entrances. Bateman is flanked by Dutch and Vita VonStarr. However, the referee sends Dutch and VonStarr backstage for this contest. The Code Of Honor is not adhered to between these two men.
The bell rings and the match is underway. These two are attempting to lock-up, but are struggling to get the better of their opponent. We get a test of strength between Bateman and Bandido where the former overpowers the latter. Bandido picks up the pace with a huge corkscrew moonsault from the top rope, but Bateman slows things down just as quickly. We cut to commercial.
Back from commercial, Bandido and Bateman are trading blows back and forth. Bandido is picking the pace up once more with a flurry of kicks, leading to a shining wizard and a two count. Bandido manages to gorilla press slam Bateman, which commentary pops insanely hard for. A standing shooting star press leads to a near-fall. Bandido drops Bateman with a Spaceman Plancha, but Bandido is quickly dropped by a chokeslam. In the finish of the match, Bandido lands a rope reversal german suplex for the pinfall victory.
Match Result: Bandido defeated Bateman via Pinfall
Walker’s Star Rating: 2.75 Star Match
We get a hype video for this week’s ROH Week By Week match – Danhausen vs. Rhett Titus. That’s going to be fun!
